Join us in celebrating the spirit of Europe

The EU brings together different traditions and cultures, united by our shared values. With the “Celebrating Europe in Frankfurt” events, the ECB brings the European spirit to our hometown of Frankfurt am Main. These events allow us to meet our neighbours, connect with the local community, speak to each other and enjoy Europe’s rich cultural diversity.

Europa Open Air

Together with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, we invite music lovers annually to a free and captivating concert experience on the banks of the Main, where over 10,000 visitors experience the unifying power of music.

Europe Day and Europa-Fest (Europe Festival)

Each year we celebrate Europe Day, and the City of Frankfurt marks the occasion with its Europa-Fest at the Römerberg, where the ECB is also present with an information booth.

Experience the ECB’s contemporary art collection as well as an exciting supporting programme with music, information about the ECB’s work and tours by the Martin Elsaesser Foundation each year during the Night of the Museums in Frankfurt.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Since 2019, each year around International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we commemorate the deportations from the Grossmarkthalle and the victims of the Holocaust together with the City of Frankfurt and the Jewish Museum Frankfurt.
